Cooper Disposal went from unknown to the #1 ranked dumpster service in their market.
A dumpster rental company with no digital strategy. We built one from the ground up — and turned it into their primary lead source within 90 days.
Operational excellence. No online presence.
Cooper Disposal ran a tight operation — fast delivery, fair pricing, clean equipment — but none of that was visible online. Their competitors were showing up on Google Maps and in the local pack. Cooper wasn’t. Every booking was coming through word of mouth, which had a ceiling.
They needed the full stack: a site that converts, local SEO that gets them into the map pack, and paid campaigns that can drive bookings immediately while organic builds. We came in as a full-service partner — not a one-off vendor — and took ownership of the whole digital channel.

Owned media first. Paid as the accelerant.
For a service business in a competitive local market, the playbook is clear: own the map pack, then use paid to fill the gaps. We executed both in parallel.
Build the Asset
New site built for speed and conversion. Service area pages for each market they serve. Clear pricing structure, fast booking flow, mobile-optimized throughout. Built to rank and built to close.
Win the Map Pack
Full GBP optimization, local schema, citation cleanup, and a review acquisition process. Consistent NAP data across all directories. Within 90 days, Cooper was ranking #1 in Google Maps for their core service area keywords.
Scale With Paid
Google Ads and Local Services Ads running simultaneously. Tight keyword targeting, conversion tracking from click to call. At $12 average CPL, paid became a reliable, scalable booking channel — not a money pit.
#1 in the market. $12 per lead.
Cooper went from invisible to the dominant local result — and paid is running profitably while organic compounds in the background.
The Challenge
Cooper Disposal entered a market with established competitors who had years of Google Business Profile reviews and organic rankings. They had no website, no GBP listing, and were relying entirely on word-of-mouth referrals. The goal was to build a digital presence from scratch and make it the primary lead source — not a supplement to referrals.
What We Built
We started with fundamentals: a new website built for local SEO with service-area pages for each suburb they covered, container-size-specific landing pages (10 yard, 20 yard, 30 yard), and structured data markup. Simultaneously, we launched and optimized their Google Business Profile — categories, service areas, photos, and a review generation strategy that got them from zero to 40+ reviews in 60 days.
On the paid side, we launched a Google Ads campaign with exact and phrase match keywords for high-intent searches (“same day dumpster rental Charleston”, “roll-off dumpster near me”), call-only ads for mobile traffic, and geographic targeting limited to their actual service area. We tracked every call and form fill back to the campaign level.
The Results
Within 90 days, Cooper Disposal was ranking #1 in Google Maps for their primary service area. Monthly bookings increased 5x compared to their referral baseline. Cost per lead via paid search averaged $12 — well below the industry average for this category. The engagement continues on a full-service retainer basis.
