The Challenge
Golt Electric had a working business and a good reputation among existing clients. What they didn’t have was a website that reflected either. Their old site was slow, didn’t convert, and wasn’t ranking for any commercial keywords. Competitors with inferior reputations were getting more inbound calls simply because their digital presence was stronger.
What We Built
We rebuilt the entire site from scratch. The new build prioritized three things: speed, SEO structure, and conversion. Page load time was cut to under 2 seconds. Service pages were written and structured around the specific searches Charleston homeowners and commercial clients use when looking for an electrician — panel upgrades, EV charger installation, whole-home rewiring, emergency electrical repair.
Every page was built with technical SEO fundamentals in place from day one: proper heading hierarchy, schema markup, internal linking, and meta data. We also optimized their Google Business Profile and built out a review generation system to compound their local authority over time.
The Results
Within 60 days of launch, form submission rate was up 38% compared to the old site. Page load speed improved 4x. The site started ranking for target keywords in the Charleston metro within the first 90 days.
